I’d probably go on a long rant about the IRS planning to tax virtual economies, but frankly, my head’s not up for it. I’ll just note this sucktastic marriage of stupidity and inevitability is just the intractable creep of the state into every facet of our lives. I mean, cops in the EU can hack anyone’s PC at will without a warrant, of course the IRS wants a piece of your Chinese gold farm.
