Otherwise I would have been live blogging my ordeal the last two days of 2008. Just as well, as while I did end up riding an ambulance to the ER with chest pains and being admitted to the hospital overnight, turns out that here wasn’t much wrong other than severe chest congestion. Makes for a less interesting story, but you know, I’m fine with that.

(In case you’re wondering, I wrote and scheduled the last three posts over two weeks ago.)

You did get all the fancy tests – EKG, Chest XRay, CATscan, blood tests, etc and you got the nitro patches all night which gave you a headache. And I’m very glad you’re okay.

I’m glad you’re okay, man! I’m glad you went in, as I’ve learned from all this, doctors basically think that any major chest pain is worth an ER visit and encouraged me to not be scared of going in even if everything ended up okay, because you never know.

Oh man, go on vacation and the world goes higgeldy piggly. Glad you’re okay, Steve. This past year has seen a lot of people go into the hospital for various things. Glad it wasn’t incredibly serious. Just don’t think that it’s nothing serious the next time.
