Spent blogging time trying to revive my mom’s PC, unfortunately, the patient died. I’m going to bequeath her my PC’s old brain, in a new case. (Actually an old case, my wife’s defunct Compaq 🙂

I happen to have a homebrew PC on my desktop:
Looks cool, but was beginning to seriously feel its age. (It would slow down if you put a Vista install disk in the same room.) So I bought a new motherboard and and chip for it.
