I’ve been working away on a new template for my this site. I have a few unique hurdles, the main one being the shear volume of content I imported from my old website. There are home pages for all of my books, excerpts for most of them, essays, short stories. . .
Anyway, when I moved to my own domain, pulling the content over was priority one. Having rational navigation? Not so much. When I revamp the site, the navigation should be a bit more intuitive, and the blog will have its own realm, separate from the site as a whole. It’s a daunting task.
To the right is a little preview image of how the new version is coming along. If I get bored some time I’ll geek out and tell you how the right sidebar is generated completely from metadata embedded in the page.
