Been doing this writing stuff as a pro for the past sixteen years or so, and I’ve discovered one thing that just never gets any easier. Now it may look like, occasionally, I’m doing several things at once. That’s never really the case, you can’t really write two things simultaneously. You stop one project, go do another project, stop that one, go to another. . .
With me though, it often gets difficult making the switch, even though sometimes I have to. I spent the weekend working on a charity project that sucked up my writing time scripting a script for a murder mystery. (Cool, something I’ve never done before.) By the end I was really cranking on it, and got it all done— but even though I spend the whole weekend writing, when I went back to Heretics it was a tough slog.
Hey, but I got through it at least.
